Version 4.0 of Kinetic was logged in today and this completes the rewriting of the left hand fingering algorithm which was made necessary by discovering several impediments when the support for barrés was introduced earlier this year. New features are explained below.

We are pleased to announce that our longest standing feature, that is the support of multipart scores, is now available in Kinetic.

We are proud to announce that Kinetic now supports MusicXML as an output format. This format comes on top of the tablature format, which can be seen on the Kinetic Web App page, and other formats used internally.
